It is estimated that there are more than 600 million people worldwide living with disabilities, and more than 2 million people in South Africa alone. With the exception of physical disabilities which have dramatically increased, all other disabilities have decreased since 1996. Astonishingly People with Disabilities (PWD’s) only represent 0.6% of the formal workforce in South Africa whereas the Employment Equity Act targets are set at 2%. PAG’s Disability Recruitment Division is committed to assisting our clients in achieving their employment equity requirements successfully by developing individualised and flexible recruitment strategies and increasing the number of job opportunities available to people with disabilities.
